Managing recertification

What this is

Certifications expire after 12 months. Recertification requires completing the training path again. Cleverer notifies both the team member and their manager before expiry.

What to do

Monitor expiry dates on your dashboard (managers/owners) or your training page (team members). When recertification is due, the training path is reassigned and the team member can begin the courses again.

Why it matters

An expired certification means a compliance gap. Even one lapsed certification in a team lowers the organisation's compliance score. Timely recertification maintains continuous coverage.

What happens next

Cleverer flags upcoming expiries on the dashboard and sends notification emails. Once recertification training is complete, a new 12-month certification is issued automatically.
