Using the Policy Builder
The Policy Builder creates structured, audit-ready policy documents by asking you targeted questions about your organisation. Unlike uploaded documents, generated policies follow a consistent format, are quality-assured, and automatically create recurring compliance tasks where relevant.
Use "Generate missing policies" on the Governance tab to create required policies in bulk, or use "Fix this with Cleverer" on an individual flagged document to generate a replacement. Answer each question — your responses shape the policy content. Review the generated draft, add any custom sections, then adopt it.
Uploaded documents vary in quality and may be missing critical content. Generated policies are structured around compliance requirements and are automatically quality-checked. They also create recurring tasks (like policy reviews and access audits) that generate ongoing evidence.
Generated policies start as drafts. Review and adopt them to make them current. Adopted policies replace flagged documents and strengthen your governance score. Recurring tasks created from the policy appear in your task list.
