Uploading policy documents
What this is
Each governance area supports document uploads — policies, procedures, signed agreements, or other evidence that the area is actively managed. Uploaded documents are stored against the coverage area and timestamped.
What to do
In the Governance tab, open a coverage area and upload the relevant document. Accepted formats include PDF, Word documents, and images. Add a description to help auditors understand what the document covers.
Why it matters
Policy documents are primary evidence during audits. Having them stored against the correct governance area means you can produce evidence quickly when asked.
What happens next
Uploaded documents appear in the coverage area detail and in the Evidence section. They contribute to your governance score and strengthen your overall evidence base.
