Understanding the coverage framework
The coverage framework is a structured list of governance areas your organisation should have in place — such as MFA policies, backup procedures, acceptable use policies, and data handling practices. Each area can be confirmed, assigned to a responsible person, and supported with evidence.
Open the Compliance workspace and go to the Governance tab. Review each coverage area. For each area, confirm whether it is active, assign a responsible person, and upload any supporting documentation.
Governance areas demonstrate to regulators and auditors that your organisation manages compliance beyond just training. Each confirmed area contributes to your governance score.
Areas you confirm turn green in the coverage summary. Unconfirmed areas are flagged as gaps. The governance component of your compliance score reflects the proportion of areas that are covered.
