Recording a compliance check-in
A check-in is a monthly review where management confirms they have reviewed the organisation's governance position. Each check-in asks targeted questions about your cyber posture and captures decisions and observations.
Open the Reviews tab and complete the monthly check-in form. Answer each question honestly. Add notes where relevant. If something needs follow-up, flag it — you can record it as an incident directly from the check-in.
Regular check-ins are required evidence that your organisation actively monitors compliance rather than setting and forgetting. Missed check-ins lower your activity score.
Each check-in is recorded as timestamped evidence. Cleverer tracks your review cadence and flags when you are overdue. Items flagged for follow-up can be recorded as incidents.
