Planning upcoming reviews with Cadence
What this is
Cadence is the second view in the Reviews group. It shows what is due for review across your governance records — policy reviews, vendor reviews, and asset reviews — so you can plan upcoming work in one place.
What to do
Open the Reviews group and switch to Cadence. Filter to the time window you care about (for example, the next two weeks or month). Open an item to act on it: marking an asset reviewed updates its next review date automatically.
Why it matters
Planning reviews ahead of time keeps your registers current and avoids the audit signal of items being reviewed only after they fall overdue.
What happens next
Retired assets do not appear in cadence. As you complete reviews, they drop out of the upcoming list and the activity is recorded on the Defensibility Timeline.
