Generating missing policies
The "Generate missing policies" button on the Governance tab identifies required policy types that your organisation does not yet have and lets you create them in bulk using the Policy Builder. Required policies include Incident Response, Backup & Recovery, Privacy & Data Handling, and Access Control.
Click "Generate missing policies" on the Governance tab. Select which policies to generate. Answer the shared questions (organisation name, review frequency, etc.) once, then answer policy-specific questions for each. Generated policies appear as drafts.
Missing required policies create compliance gaps that lower your score and increase audit exposure. Generating them ensures your organisation has the baseline governance documents expected by regulators.
Generated policies appear as drafts in your register. Review each one, add custom sections if needed, then adopt to make them current. Each adopted policy also creates recurring compliance tasks that generate ongoing evidence.
